I am attempting to print a source report for one person, but have been unable to "disengage" the spouse, so to speak. I only want the sources connected to a single individual, not the couple. How do I accomplish this feat? Thanks in advance.

Have the individual's family page up
Click on > Reports in left sidebar
Click on > individual's name by "Who"
Click on > Normal by "Format"
Click in box next to Sources in "Include"
Give it a title
Set your layout, if you want
Set your destination (Pages, Word, etc)
Click on "Open with ..."
You will see a list of all sources used for that individual in the report.
Hope this helps.Kaye Mushalik

Re: Source Report for one individual
Kaye, thanks for your prompt response. Your scenario is exactly the way I was attempting to create the report, but the list of sources when the report is created is for two individuals, if the person is married - I can't find a method to create a report of sources for only the one person. It is a nuisance to edit and delete from the source list to customize it for the single individual. Any more ideas? Thanks again.

Select Layout > Define layouts
Select the Duplicate Layout button at lower left
Select the duplicate layout and give it a new name, such as "Without Spouse"
Select Spouse Fields from the middle column
Uncheck all fields in the right column
Click the save button.
I think this may create your person sheet without his/her spouse (except for name) and without any spouse sources (unless there is a source cited for the spouse's name).Byron Spoon

Re: Source Report for one individual
Byron - I did try that exact sequence and thought it had not accomplished my desire, BUT I didn't realize that the sources for the name would show. I expected 100% and thought only 0% when I saw the 95%. That is much closer to my goal and I will continue with that layout and edit in Pages, needing to only delete a few sources. Thanks.

Be sure you are on the family "card" for the person you want to do a report on.
****Oops, just did a sample for a different person, who was married, than I did for the previous instructions who was single. See what you mean. However, if you look closely, you'll see that the sources are numbered, in order, starting with "1" for the chosen person, so you can cut out all sources below the last number found for the chosen person along with any other people on the report. But, you're right, if this individual & spouse had tons of sources, there could be a lot of work involved. Here's my sample of what I did. Is this what you do?Attached FilesKaye Mushalik

Re: Source Report for one individual
Looks like Byron's method may be the best way to go! I do tend to get into detail, maybe too much! Good luck!
Thanks for the advice, Byron!Kaye Mushalik
