Combining data

I am using a mac computer(new to computers) & I seem to be entering the same data on
different charts.Does anyone live in Surrey or Langley BC, that I could meet with to get a

When adding a new record, how are you doing it? From here, based on what you said, my in telli-guess is that you are going File >> New Family File and, thus, creating another family tree.

If that is the case, yes to starting over. You should be using the Plus signs for the male, the female or the children. It might be nice to visit but I live about 1,000 miles south of you.

I might also suggest that you go to www.leisterpro.com and review their excellent introduction videos. I don't know if you are like me, but the Mac is so intuitive I sometimes think (erroneously) that I don't need to 'read the manual' or look at training.
