Question about Register Reports and Privacy

I could have sworn when I ran the Register Report out for my first printed book a couple of years ago (on Reunion 9) that living persons (marked "Living" and without birth dates etc.) included the Notes field in the report. Now, looking at the Preferences for the Register Report, I can see no way to include the Notes field for living persons.

Was this a change that occurred with Reunion 10?

Is there any way to work around this? (I keep biographies in the Notes field and I want them for living persons (sans dates of course)).

    Thanks!

Re: Question about Register Reports and Privacy

    OK here is another question.

I tried to find all records for living people that had notes fields. So I did a FIND with Living yes AND Misc. Notes is not '' - in addition to the true living people the results list includes all the people in my database that have blanks in the birth and death date fields (including a lot of ancient ancestors for whom I had no dates). I ran the FIND again with only Living yes and I still get people with blank birth dates so I checked some of their records, and they DO NOT have the PRIVATE flag checked.

However, when I run out a register report and mark Privacy Filtering, it includes all those people with blank birth and death dates and shows their Misc. Notes field as if they are deceased and only marks "Living" for people with a birth date after 1900 with no death date.

Is that working as intended? Should "Living" really include people with no birth date? Is "Living" not the same as "Privacy Filtering" on a register report? If so, I find that pretty confusing!
