    Using the Index

One day recently, I found that my Index (to Reunion) was in complete disorder. The words went from A to Z, started over again twice, A to Z, and then this week, it starts over a
    fourth time. Most confusing.

Does anyone know what could have caused this and how do I fix my Index?

    Thank you. Freda

    Hi Freda,

I noticed there was no response to your question.

Based on your note, I'm guessing the Index (what we call the List - People window in Reunion 10) is being sorted by something other than Last Name, First & Mid Name.

In any case, please try this...

    1. Open your family file and press Command-L on your keyboard.

    2. When the List - People window opens, select "Last Name, First & Mid Name" from the Sorting Options window. (I.e, click on the icon that looks like purple steps, or bars, at the bottom of the List - People window.)

    3. If that does not take care of the sorting problem, choose File -> Close to close the List - People window. Then, choose File -> Rebuild Cache Files and click "Rebuild."

I hope you find this information helpful:-)
