Child born after husband died.

In my family (200 years ago) a widow had a child two years after her husband died. So it seems save to say he was not the father. There is no known father and the son got the last name his mother had in his birth certificate. I now have the boy a son of the man who definitely wasn't his father. Is there a better solution? I cannot enter a second spouse.

As long as you're sure of the timings I think you have to enter a new spouse called Unknown.
