I'm sure I'm being very dense here! The manual says
'Saving Default Attributes for Frames
In the previous sections, various frame attributes were explained (line depth, corner style, title color, etc.). These attributes can be saved and applied to frames in new charts. Thus, if you edit a frame and are pleased with its look, new charts will have the same look.
To save the attributes of a chart frame as the default frame appearing in new charts...
Single-click the frame in a chart to select it.
Set the attributes the way you like using the tool panel.
Choose Object -> Save Default Frame Attributes.'
BUT if there is no frame or title to click on - how can I then 'Single-click the frame in a chart to select it'? And the 'Save default' in the menu is therefore greyed out.
Help!
Jamie.
