changing event types

Does anyone know how I can change an event type once the event has already been created? Somehow in an import I have done, Census events have been labelled as Misc. Event. All the information is correct, just the event type is wrong. I could delete them all and re-enter them but I wonder if there is a way to leave all the event information in tact and just change the event type.
Any ideas? Thanks!

There may be another way to do it, but what occurs to me is to create the Event you really want, then go to Reunion Preferences for Fields, and use the Move function.

It might be a good idea to make a backup copy of your family file before doing this so you can have a good fallback position.

Upon further review, you can simply go to Field Preferences and edit the name in the list of fields.
