    Giving Reunion to someone else

I wish to put onto a flash drive my Reunion data file and a copy of Reunion licensed to my sister who is out of state. When she opens her gift she'll put the flash drive into her computer and open the drive to see what is there. I'd like her to be able to click on the family data file and have it run from there.

She will not be near internet when she opens the gift. I've downloaded Reunion.dmg and can place it onto the flash drive. Can she install from there? How do I include a license?

    Hi Frank,

Your sister can install Reunion from the ".dmg" file on the flash drive.

After she installs Reunion from that ".dmg" file, she can enter the license information that you purchase for her. (Note: you should purchase a license for "Download - Reunion 10 for Macintosh" for her, unless she does have her own fully licensed previous version of Reunion. Then, you could purchase the "Download - Reunion 10 for Macintosh Upgrade" license for her. The license information can be saved in a text file and put onto the flash drive.)

A link to our Web Store can be found here...

Note: when making a gift purchase of the downloadable version for your sister in our Web Store, please click the "Change Name" button in "Description of Charges" section of the Checkout window, to change the User Name to your sister's name.

Also, after your sister gets up and running in Reunion 10, ask her to send an email to "sales@leisterpro.com" along with a note saying Reunion 10 was a gift purchased by you. Then we can update the email address associated with her license information in our system.

If you have any questions, please let me know before proceeding with your purchase.

    Thanks:-)

Bought it, but did not get name change complete. It remains in my name.

She'll contact you to change it to her name, I guess.
