Can I just ask - why does it bother you if a particular picture is set as preferred? For any place where there is an option for a picture to be displayed, reunion needs to know which one you would wish to be shown. If you don't want any picture shown, then tell reunion not to display the preferred picture.

How do you tell Reunion not to display a preferred picture?

Reunion will display the picture if the "Preferred" option is checked. If no picture has the option "Preferred" checked, it will not display any picture.

So you can't tell Reunion not to display a preferred picture, because "preferred" means the same thing as "display this picture".

To check or uncheck "Preferred", you open the multimedia window and look under "Information" (at the lower left corner of the window) and click on the "Preferred" check box.
