    Hiding Multimedia

    Hello all,

Is there a way to hide ONLY some multimedia files. I am distributing my Family File as a web Project and would like to hide some, but not all, multimedia files which are attached to the sources.

Has anyone had experience in doing this, I sure cannot find it in the manual.

    Thanks,
    Frank

Hi Frank, if you open the source and check one of the boxes circled in the attached screen shot, that item will be treated as sensitive. If you go to Preferences and get to the Sensitivity panel, you can check the box for excluding sensitive data. I'm pretty sure this will give you the result you want.

      Tim,

Thank you SO much!! That did the trick. I don't know why I didn't see that before; as my momma would say, "If it was a snake. . . . . .?"

I was worried when doing it the first time as it didn't seem to work, and then I realized that I have not closed the source window and that kept the check box from being applied. NOW, it works just fine!! This is my work around for those PDF sources I have which contain social security numbers which I found very difficult to cover up in VERY large multipage PDF's (more than 100 pages each). If I ever do find an EASY way to cover those offending SS numbers, I may just uncheck. See Past POST "Security Issue."

I can't believe it was so simple. The more I work with Reunion, the more I feel I don't know it at all. The more I use ReunionTalk, the more kinder & informative I realize you all are!

      Thanks bunches!
