Editing Date Modifiers

I used several genealogy programs before finding Reunion and entered hundreds of dates with modifiers such as bef (before), aft (after), bet (between), etc. The appearance of the dates in charts is acceptable, but rather unsightly in narrative format (such as in a register report). Is there some way to mass edit the modifiers, i.e. change bef to before, aft to after?

I would add, if someone knows a way to change the appearance of the modifier in the Register Report that might be an easier solution.

Go to Reunion Preferences ---> Date Preferences and select the Format tab. Then in the “Month” section select “Full name” instead of “Abbreviate”.

This will spell out not just the month names but also any date prefixes such as “bef” and “aft”. But it’s an all or nothing situation…either everything is abbreviated or everything is spelled out in full.
