Word Capitalization

Maybe I am missing a very simple setting somewhere in the preferences , but I can't find where you can change the settings to eliminate the capitalization of all the words when recording an event, fact, etc. Everything seems to be capitalized including "a" "the', etc. Thanks for any help. . .I have been known to have been blind to simple settings before.

The initial caps on/off toggle is not found in Preferences. It is found in each Edit Person window and can be set for Name, Event, and Fact fields. Search the manual for the phrase:
initial caps button

Unknown to me if changing the setting will affect previously entered data or only current/future data entry. But you can test this to find out.
