Problem with using Find navigation

After I performed a search on one person in my database so that the Results navigation shows only the one person, I went to the Find navigation to search for anyone that has a blank birthdate. The results failed because for some reason, it automatically goes back to the one person I previous searched and who has a birthdate entry. What needs to be done to clear the previous search so I can find anyone who has a blank birthdate?

There is no need to "clear" anything. It is more likely the way you did the find.

For this one, choose birthdate under Events, use "is" for the operator and make sure there is absolutely nothing in the third box. Click Find. The other possibility is that you don't have anyone without data in the birthdate field.
