How to Move Child to Different Parent?

I just discovered that I have an error in that a child is listed under the correct father but the incorrect mother. The father was married twice and I added the son to the wrong marriage. Being quite green using Reunion 10.4, I want to make sure that I get it right without causing branches to come tumbling out of the tree.

    The Clipboard is your friend!

Drag the child from the incorrect set of parents to the clipboard; go to the correct set of parents; and drag the child to them (in the children area).

      Thanks for the response.

That almost worked, I failed to mention that the son that needed to move has a wife and three children. I moved the son and assumed that the remainder of his family would move along with him, they didn't and now I can not find them.

They should have moved with the child (son). Not sure why not.

Have you tried the find option &/or the alphabetical people listing to find them? When you do (they ARE there), use the same clipboard procedure.

On my first search for the wife, I could not find her, most certainly my error. Once found, I moved her to the clipboard and from there rejoined her to her husband. The children did not come with her either, I had to do the same procedure for each of the three children. Everyone is back together now.

          Thanks for your help!!!
