I want to copy the actual text from a source and paste it into a Word document. I have opened a particular source and a small window opens up in the middle of the screen. I clicked on "preview" and can see what I want but don't know how to highlight it so that I can copy it to another program. I clicked on the "copy source" button but can't figure out where it copied the text to. I also tried clicking on the hammer at the bottom of the source list. I click on "copy text of source" and have the same question. Where is it copying to? How can I find it? I just wanted to do a quick copy and paste but so far no luck.

Re: copy and paste
In addition to Dennis' suggestions, you may want to consider a Copy/Paste utility such as iClipboard or ClipMenu. The advantage to these is that they put an icon in the top bar that will pop down to show your last XXX copies from which you can choose any instead of just the last one. Also, in most these, you can set up customized clip storage files.
For example, in iClipboard, I have a separate storage file for the items that I want to paste into Reunion data fields again and again and again.Bob White, Mac Nut Since 1985, Reunion Nut Since 1991
