Find ancestors' age at death

I'm planning my retirement. Well, maybe a partial retirement depending on my research and accounting. Toward that end I'd like to check out the age of death of my ancestors so I can roughly predict my own demise.

I remember once seeing a predicted age of death in Reunion and thinking at the time that it was pretty macabre, but on 2nd thought realizing that's what actuarial tables do all the time.

Anyway, I can't figure out how to search the info.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

I believe the life expectancy feature was removed a few versions back. But here's a calculator that's probably as good as any age-based only calculator: Social Security Life Expectancy Calculator.

To look at the ages of your ancestors, my approach would be to find your ancestors, then create a list from the results in the sidebar (click on the orange boxes at the bottom of the column), then add or change a column in the list to Attributes->Age.

Reports in the sidebar then use the popups at the top to choose Age and At Death and either All People, Marked People or Unmarked People. Enjoy!

Looks like--if statistics are at all predictive--I'll be gone just about the time my roof needs replacement.
