Is there a way I can generate a report that details all my sources?

The only source report I can find is one that lists the source usage - the source number and which people / families it is used with.

What I am looking for though is a report that will list each source, including details from all the source fields.

Show sources in the sidebar and then click the Share button under the list.

Thanks, I didn't know that either. I notice that you can re-order/sort the Sources on any of the column headers AND they will print out in that alternative order.

For example, click on Type at the top, they will sort by Type such as Books, then Census, etc.) and will print out in that order. For this one, you will need to add the Types by hand on your printed report -- that part will not show.

Not sure why I'd want to print these out but glad to know I can do it. Any suggestions on the utility of having them printed out are welcome. (I am prepared for the big "Duh" after someone replies to this.) ;-)

The reason I want to print a list is because I am doing a thorough audit of all my sources, and I want to be able to see at a glance the way each source reads as I am going through the list.
Yes, I could just click to open the source in another window....but I'm just one of those Gen X people who finds it easier to look at multiple documents at once, on paper spread out before me, rather than flip back and forward between windows on a screen :-))

For this one, you will need to add the Types by hand on your printed report -- that part will not show...Any suggestions on the utility of having them printed out are welcome.

To include source "types" in the shared source list and in reports, follow these steps...

1. Open your family file and choose Reunion -> Preferences.

2. Click on Sources and select the Types tab (if it is not already selected).

3. Select a source type in the Source Types list and check the "Include label prefix in endnotes" box at the bottom.

4. Enter a label for that source. (The label can be anything you desire. However, for your purposes, I recommend entering the actual source type as the label.)

5. Repeat this for each type shown in the Source Types list.

Afterward, you will see the source types included in newly created source lists/reports.

Teresa, you sound like a baby boomer to me (no offense!). I thought we were the only ones left who want to look at print, ha ha.
