Deleting logs

I wanted to delete the only Log in a family file. So I went to Logs, and selected it - but the delete (-) icon was greyed out.
I can create a New Log, move it above the one I wish to delete and then delete the unwanted one. But I cannot then delete the new one!
Is it not possible to delete all the logs? Must there always be one left?

There will always be one Log listed, just like there is always one Note listed.
