I switched over to using a mac 2 years ago from a PC. I used at that time Legacy for my genealogy. I just purchased Reunion 2 months ago and imported my gedcom into Reunion 10.
In Legacy I used their MRIN numbering system to file my papers and data I researched and have. That numbering system came from the marriages of two people. So the individual number #1 and individual #2 got married so their married Number [Mrin] is #1 You then stored the documents under that system The individual data as a single person stayed in the parents MRIN #. When they got marriage a new Number of storing their life's data started.
I have not seen a similar numbering system with reunion 10. Is There? Otherwise I will need to renumber every ones storage number to the individual number in Reunion with will be a pain in the neck.
Or is there a simpler way? Any Ideas...
