    change a general source...

I didn't realize at the time but one of my sources is a General Source. It is attached to 92 people that shouldn't have this source. Is there a way to delete it from multiple people?

As I add sources I don't want them to be tagged as General Source unless I check the box. Does Reunion assume that the source is a General Source?

You've either been using the Automatic Source feature, or perhaps the Change > Set General Sources feature.

The Automatic Source feature automatically assigns a general source citation to each new individual entered in the family file.

For more details, search the manual for "general source"

There's no way to remove a source from 92 people instantly.

It seems to me that you could select "Sources" in the Sidebar, then in the source list, select the source in question. In Source Tools, just delete that source. You will get a warning about source usage and you can select to delete it.

Then you can just create a new source and re-enter the source information for the people to whom it really belongs.

      Will this not work?

That'll be OK if she hasn't used the source for other records. But if she has another 50 people where the source was cited (and intended to be cited), then deleting the source record would remove that citation from those 50 people too.
