Searching descendants of one person or couple?

Suppose I want to search the descendants of one couple in my file, who lived in the 1700s and have many descendants but they are only a fraction of the people in my file. I can search for @ in the notes field, for example, to find an email address, but I want to search only the descendants of this couple, not everyone in my file. Is there a way to do this? Would be handy for users who have large files. adTHANKSvance!

    - Unmark everyone, then mark the descendants of the couple.

    - Go to Find and make the first Condition = Attributes->[Person Marked][Yes]

    - Check the And box

    - Select the actual condition you want to search on

AND-ing the second criteria with the first will ensure you're searching only the group that you marked.

Thank you, that worked! I had marked certain people for other reasons, but can redo those marks. Sometimes I wish we could have more than one set of marks.

If anyone else is new to this, in the "Find" menu "Person marked" is in "Attributes."

Marked sets of people can be saved and recalled in the Mark panel and Preset Searches can be saved in the Find panel.
