Look in the "Reunion" menu and choose "Preferences...". In the window that opens, click on "Fields". Click on "Events": The new events you've created will be in the list. If you click on "Facts", the new facts you've created will be in the list. If you click on "Notes" the new note types you've created will be on the list. If you click on "Flags", any new flags you've created will be on the list.
Sorry, but that is what I am doing. I added the fields, but they still do not show up in the report. Since these fields were actually created in Roots Magic in Windows, I suspect Reunion, like other genealogy programs I've tried doesn't always import stuff from gedcoms as it should. I've tried several and none of them imports gedcom completely correctly. For instance, if I try to import a Reunion gedcom into Family Tree Maker, any name with an NSFX tag gets screwed up and it doesn't import ANY Sources at all.

Shown below is probably the more relevant portion of Dennis' post. If you've already done this too, not sure where to go with further advice, because if the data is visible in Reunion's Family View or Edit panes, it for the most part should be be able to be put into reports. Perhaps contacting the help desk directly would help break the logjam on this.

But creating them doesn't automatically put them on the report. To add fields to a Register report, you have to change the layout. The ***default*** layout doesn't include newly created fields, you have to add them to the layout yourself.

This is done on the page right before you generate the report: select the "Layout" pull-down menu, select "Define Layouts..." and you will see the panel you can use check-boxes to determine which fields you want printed in that particular layout.

If you search the manual for "Defining Your Own Report Layouts" you will find further information that should help.

Well, I don't know how else to say it, but this is what I'm doing. My created Events DO NOT appear in the list, therefore I can't select them for inclusion in the Register report.

It would probably be worth calling the help desk because the application should be working better for you.
