moving from dropbox to iCloud in reunion 12

I moved my reunion files from dropbox to iCloud drive, by dragging them. I am not able to make them open from iCloud on my touch, on either my iPhone or iPad. The file is showing in the folder with the little cloud and down arrow, but it is grayed out. Any suggestions?
Both devices the touch shows "Download family file from iCloud" and then underneath "connected to iCloud"

My iMac (late 2012) is running mac os 10.15.7 (can't upgrade this any more), both iPhone and iPad iOS 18.2

ReunionTouch will sync with Reunion 13 and Reunion 14 family files using either Dropbox or iCloud Drive.

With Reunion 12, your only option for syncing with ReunionTouch is to use Dropbox.

ReunionTouch does not support Reunion 12 family files shared via iCloud Drive.

I am experiencing the same problem as K Eriksson (above post). I am using Macbook Pro; os Sequoia 15.3. I have upgraded to Reunion 14 and all updates on ReunionTouch for my iphone and ipad. I have very good wifi, and 2T space in iCloud. My main file which is quite large is taking a VERY long time to upload into icloud. (it's been about a week so far), and it seems to stop at half way not continuing the upload. My other files are smaller and have uploaded ok, however when I try to open a file on my iphone or ipad, by downloading from iCloud, I get a message saying "Locate "Sync" File, but when I click Locate it takes me to a screen where the family files are grayed out. Thanks for any assistance. Mary
