How to record immigrant brothers when no father or mother is listed.

I have a similar situation with Revolutionary War Soldier Absalom Hooper and his brother Clemmons Hooper. Their relationship is well-documented but there are no documented parents.

My solution was to create "Unknown Hooper" and make him the father of both Absalom and Clemmons. It's not perfect, but it works and I think you'll find it's the most common solution.
