Key commands for font changes?

I keep hoping Reunion will allow key commands (e.g. Command-B for bold) in the Notes fields (instead of selecting from a button at the top). Is there a reason this hasn't been implemented yet?

Reunion 11 and 12 both use the same set of key commands for Bold/Underline/Italic/Plain. They are as follows:

Bold: 		Shift+Command+b
Underline: 	Shift+Command+u
Italic: 	Shift+Command+i
Plain: 		Shift+Command+t
