Pared down Family View

I wanted to create a simplified Family View chart to send to a couple of cousins that shows how we are each related but only includes each of our direct paths to the common ancestor. (There are a ton of siblings in some of these lines.) But I don't see a way to tell Family View to display ONLY marked people. I can do it with a Descendants chart, of course, but I would prefer to have the Family View layout. Am I missing something?

EDIT: I guess I could clone the entire file and delete away everyone I want to leave out, that seems like it should be unnecessary given the marking capability.

Go to 'Find', then 'Find relationship between two people'. Then click 'Create Chart'.
I believe this will give you what you are wanting.
