Problem with shortcuts

I keep having a problem with the shortcuts nmc and nfc. It is probably something I am doing wrong, but the shortcuts get entered in the search button at the top of the People window rather than the bottom of the person in Family View. I cannot figure out how to get it to work right.

Type "plks" [RETURN]

This will change the behavior so that the cursor isn't automatically moved to the sidebar search box.

Typing it again will go back to the old behavior.

I'm pretty sure that once you've toggled the behavior, it stays toggled until you change it...even if you quit Reunion.
