Reorder note fields

How does one do a mass reorder of note fields?

In addition to the default note fields, I have created some custom ones. In the preferences section for default notes it now lists: narrative, misc notes, research, military, DNA, and medical.

This works fine for new people but how do I reorder the notes en mass for existing people?

I'm afraid that's not currently possible -- you would need to go to each existing entry and manually re-order the notes. Reunion does not currently have a feature that allows you to reorder all of the notes in the family file.

Since I could with dates/birth order of children I thought I could

Note, too, that if you're editing a particular note field, say, the 3rd in a list, and switch to another person via the sidebar, the note type will be whichever is in the 3rd position for the newly-selected person.
