Slow when entering new people

When I enter the name of a new person it seems as though it is taking forever for it to find the relationship and let me more on. My file is rather large and I'm sure that is contributing to the slowness. Can I shut down the finding the relationship?

You might want to try turning off "Check for duplicates."

Choose Reunion > Preferences from Reunion's main menubar, click on the General icon and then uncheck "Check for duplicates when adding new people."
