    Linking Multimedia

I have just updated from Reunion 8 to12. This is after a break of 10 years so files have moved around and some Documents are in iCloud. After successfully converting the files of my original family tree done in Reunion 8 there were 86 picture files not found. The instruction says to identify the folder containing the files. Then to Repair the multimedia links. Cannot find the Repair button! The original Picture folder is still in the Applications folder in Reunion 8 where all the original images are from 2009

I have been linking some of the images manually but would prefer the Pictures folder to be in the New Family Folder I created. Please advise how best to put all the images into my new Reunion 12 as they are still in Reunion 8 in my Applications folder. I think there should be a way to save the new folder to my Documents. Perhaps you could give me some advice please as I don't want to be dragging files around it can lead to problems!! Thank you

The Repair button is in the Multimedia Preferences window. To access Reunion's Multimedia Preferences window, choose Reunion -> Preferences. Then, click on Multimedia. You will see a window similar to this...

Make sure the storage location of the pictures you have linked to people in your family file is shown in the "Multimedia Search Folders" section of that window. (If not, click the "+" directly under that section and use the window that opens to add it.)

Then, click the "Repair Multimedia Links..." button at the bottom of the window to repair the links.

I hope you find this information helpful
