Importing .ged file created in Rootsweb

I don't have Family Tree Maker, but do have my sister in law's FTM files. I imported these Family Tree Maker files into Rootsweb so that I could generate a ged or gedcom file. When I try to import the ".ged" file into Reunion 12 it goes through all the stages, including the progress bar, but there are no files in the Reunion file afterward. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The only thing I see that doesn't look OK is that both the source and destination show Rootsweb in those fields. I would think the destination would show "Reunion." But there's no way to change that destination. Any advice would be appreciated.
