Family Cards

I was looking at some previous versions of my Family Cards before creating a new one to include recent research. I noticed that the Search facility does not find anything. I tried a forename and a surname of people on the database. Has anyone else noticed this or is there an obvious button I forgot to tick when I generated the Cards?

I noticed that the Search facility does not find anything.

Are you opening the Web Project locally on your Mac (versus uploading it to a website and going to the website)? If so, the search function won't work because of security restrictions that most web browsers (e.g. Safari) have enforced - basically, the Javascript used to do the search can't access the file containing the index, because the web browser doesn't allow the Javascript to access local files. It will only work when the project has been uploaded to a website.

Unfortunately there's no good work around for this other than disabling that security feature, which we don't recommend.
