Is anyone using some type of text expander to fill in the blanks for a source template? If so what program? I am trying to use typeit4me with not much good success. It works sometimes and not others.

Remembering a bunch of letter schemes just doesn't work for me. I have a different approach. I use a clip manager named iClip (https://iclipapp.com). One can set up as many sets of clips as they want. So I have several sets. When doing genealogy, I switch to the genealogy set and can insert that clip by clicking on its arrow icon. There are a number of clip manager apps out there that could be used like this.Bob White, Mac Nut Since 1985, Reunion Nut Since 1991
Jenanyan, Barnes, White, Duncan, Dunning, Hedge and more
iMac/MacBookAir M1 - iPhonePro/iPadPro - Reunion14 & RT

Yes, I'm using Textexpander for quite a while in Reunion. I use it for a couple of different purposes:
1) to fill in Reunion sources templates with repetitive information about archives, publishers etc. I'm using the pop-up menu feature in Textexpander for fill-ins
2) to fill in fact-fields with repetitive long information about universities, schools or societies e.g. "Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule, Aachen, Germany"
3) when doing German language localization for Reunion, I use Textexpander to translate/populate resource-fields across various res-fields with the same information. This is to ensure consistency in translation, spelling and typing across many different res-fields.
Hope this helps.
