Identify candidate families when only siblings are known?

I often find obituaries where descendants and siblings are named, but not parents.

I'd like to connect the individual to their parents' family when first adding them, but don't know of an efficient or practical way to do that with the current FIND functions.

Has anyone found a way to search for families that have children with specific given names?

Try choosing Find (in the navbar on the left) and selecting the Couples tab at the top.

Then, select these conditions:

Children > # of Children ... More Than ... 0

And

Name > Child's Name ... Contains ... <enter child's first name>

And (if there is more than one child known)

Name > Child's Name ... Contains ... <enter child's first name>

And (if there is more than one child known)

Name > Child's Name ... Contains ... <enter child's first name>

Finally, click Find.

The resulting list included the names of the parents of the three children.

Note: only three names of children can be included in the search.
