Is it possible to remove event places from the descendant chart layout? I found the option to move places to a second line, but places tend to take a lot of space and I would like to omit them on some of my charts.

In the chart layout window, you can uncheck birth and death in the Person Fields column, and then go to Name Setup and click the Change button to choose a new name format that includes dates. This will give you the dates without the places.

I like to first duplicate the layout I'm starting with and give the copy a descriptive name (eg, No Places) so I can go back to the original layout when I want without any fuss.
