The children buttons in my Family View have suddenly gotten so much larger that the space will only accommodate three children before requiring me to use the drop-down menu (which I kind of hate). This happened when I temporarily re-sized the screen (as in, dragged it to the left to make it smaller) so I could see something on my desktop. When I dragged it back to full size, the children buttons were huge. What happened? How do I get the children buttons smaller again? I don't see anything in Preferences. Thx!

The size of the child buttons depends on two things:
1 - The number of fields displayed in the buttons.
2 - The size of the preferred pictures in the buttons.
Most likely the second is the cause of the large buttons in your family file. If you place your mouse cursor over one of the preferred pictures in the child buttons you should see a handle (three horizontal lines) appear at bottom-center of the picture. Drag that handle up to make the picture smaller, and that should make the buttons smaller and allow for more buttons to be shown in the Family View.
