Making a Report - people living on the same street

Hello, is it possible to run a report that shows who lives on the same street. I would like it to show there names, addresses and dates. I have the address listed under residents based on census data. Thank you.

In Reunion?? Might I remind you that this is a genealogy program--and a damn fine one at that. BUT, it isn't a 'do all, know all'; let alone a census app.

Assuming you've entered the addresses in the "Resided" field, you could do a list (hit the yellow button at the bottom of the People panel), sort the list window by Resided, and compare.

Do you use Ancestry? If yes, there is something close to what you want; might be just what you want.

When you bring up a census record, there are two buttons to choose either Image or Record. Choose Record. Scroll to the bottom and you will see a link to "View others on page." Choosing that link will give you a listing of everyone on that census sheet. The produced report doesn't include addresses but you can get those from the image if needed. 2020-03-02_11-25-51.png

Hello thank you for your help,
          - I understand this might not be possible. I thought I would ask because this is such a powerful program, I thought it might be possible. :-)
          - Bob, I'm trying to see how close some of my relatives lived and they are not necessary on the same census page.
          - Dennis - see attached images. I have taken two screen shots of how far I got. But just can't get the report I was hoping for.

You're just listing the places. What I had in mind was that you had entered the place in the residence field, and you listed all the people, you could get a result like the attached. If all you have is a list of places, then you can see what events use it as you have above.

On occasion, I have done what Dennis described and found it useful. Another Ancestry tip is to use the pointers when looking at a census sheet. Those will take you along a street or maybe to the next street. I have found several relatives this way.

I believe you can get what you'd like using the Find feature -- based on your posts it looks like you have the address in a Residence event.

Go to Find in the Navbar at left, and, under the People tab, set the conditions:

Residence Place [under Events in the drop-down] Contains [street name]

And click Find. This will give you a list of people who have that street name in a Residence event -- they'll appear in the Results sidebar on the right.

You can then use the blue Share icon (looks like a square with an arrow coming out of it) at the bottom to create a printable report of the list.

                HTH

Bob, I will give that a look and see what I come up with it is kind of like driving down the road in a google car on a map. Should be interesting.

Mark, Thank you ---- That is what I was looking for!! I knew this program could do it. ;-D

                  Thanks for all the replies.
