Family card flags?

There doesn't seem to be a way to add a flag to a family card. Is this true? I have flags for record status (Fully sourced, Research needed, etc) that could apply here as these cards have their own events and data that need checking.

No its not true !
Click on any person, Click on flags, then
At the bottom of the page, click on Flag Preferences,
Then click Add Flag and choose what you want to call your new one

I have added flags to individual people records, but click on a family record (where marriage is documented) to see that you can add events but not flags. The tutorial says, "A family record will be made for each marriage to each spouse."

Sorry but this is the usual story, read the manual.
Line one of the Flags section states that a flag is an attribute of a Person.
I don't think a flag can be used for an event such as a marriage

Rupert, I have come to the same conclusion (that I cannot use a flag on a family record). However, if you look at the last line of the Flags section of the manual, it is a link to user examples of flag use. There are numerous examples of "record attributes", such as Research Problems, Needs Editing, Look for Obituary, even Private should be considered a record attribute as these say nothing about a person. This is actually where I got the idea for these types of flags. The manual also says, "Flags provide a simple tool for working with subsets of your family file." I wish flags were more broadly implemented. I'll move this to Wish List.
