Is it important to GEO Code all locations? Advantages/disadvantages.

Secondary, but related, question. While I was using the Reunion in the Demo Mode, I did a GEO code for Bismarck, ND. When I looked in the place names, all of a sudden I had a street address. Nothing in my file has a street address in Bismarck. Where would this have come from?

Is it important to GEO Code all locations?

Whether or not you geocode all locations is up to you. Within Reunion, geocodes are mostly useful when mapping places.

Nothing in my file has a street address in Bismarck. Where would this have come from?

Most likely what happened is that when you selected Get geo codes for this place, one of the results was a specific address, and you inadvertently selected Get Name and Coordinates, which would change the name of the place in your file to that of the selected "found" location.
