Is there a way to global edit a surname?

Yes. This can be done using the Find and Replace feature in Reunion.

To access it, choose Find in the navbar on the left. Then, click the Find and Replace button at the bottom of the Find panel. Additional information about the Find and Replace feature can be found by searching for "find replace" in the manual. To access the manual, click on the "?" in the lower-left corner of just about any Reunion window or choose Help -> Contents.
