Obituary Report

I just upgraded from Reunion 9 to Reunion 12 and I noticed there is now an Obituary screen under the Reports selection. I do not know how this is being populated because these obituaries were never in my old version of Reunion. Many of them have inaccuracies that I would like to correct. Does Reunion pull this information from other online resources?

Reunion pulls the information in the Obituary from the information entered into your family file. Is there something specific that has been entered correctly into your family file, but is not shown correctly in the Obituary?

Thanks Deb. I am still using Mac OSX 10.14.6 (Mojave) so I am able to run both version 9 and version 12 of Reunion concurrently. When I look at the person entry in version 9 I can not find anywhere where that obituary information is located. The inaccuracies in version 12 that I mentioned are things that I never would have made even if I had entered those obituaries.

The Obituary report in Reunion 12 harvests the information that is currently entered in your family file (for example: birth, death and marriage dates) and generates a sort of "calculated" obituary. It really has nothing to do with any obituaries that you may have entered into your file.

If there is something that you disagree with in Reunion's Obituary report most likely there's a problem with data entered in your family file, for example a birth or death date or maybe a relationship link.

Please give us an example of what you're seeing in this report as inaccurate and we should be able to point you in the direction of the problem.
