Spouse is Shown as 7C1R not as Spouse of Wife or Husand

As stated in title I have run into this problem on several occassions, It happens only when one's spouse is also distant cousin. Is this a coding problem or is there another solution involving preferences of setting? My work around is deleting the common ancestors.

I am running Reunion 12.0 (build 200602) on a Mac Pro 2017 with 2.3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5.

This is intentional. Reunion will always display the closest blood relationship to the source person over any other relationship. There is no preferences setting for this - that would be something for the wish list.
