Person not found in the people list

I have a person in the family file who who is not found in the LIst-People window. I've reentered his name and date of birth but he still is not displayed in the List-people window. How can I reindex my file so that he is displayed?

Followup. The person is listed in the People window, but not in the List-People window.

Try rebuilding cache files. To do so, begin at any family view. Then, choose File -> Rebuild Cache Files and click Rebuild.

Information about what happens during the rebuilding process can be found in your manual by searching for "rebuild cache." (To access your manual, open your family file and choose Help -> Contents or click on the "?" in the lower-left corner of just about any Reunion window.)
