Strange relationship

My tree has suddenly declared that my father is the” brother of spouse”. It’s in faded script under his name and photo on the family page. My mother is similarly declared to be “ spouse of brother of spouse”.
what is going on here? They are definitely not siblings!

It sounds like relationships in your family file are now based on a brother- or sister-in-law of your father. To change the source person for relationships back to yourself, Control-click (or right-click) on your name button and select Find Relatives from the menu that appears. (Other options would be to drag your name button onto the word "Relatives" in the Sidebar listing on the left or into the Relatives sidebar on the right.)

Afterward, you should be shown as the Source and your Father and Mother should be shown as such
