red box surrounding person

unrelated to my family: father, mother, 2 children (male & female). On this family's page, under children, both children are there but the female's box is surrounded with red border. What does that mean? She is adopted, but no further information.

I'm guessing you've set the child's status to "Adopted" -- the red outline is a visual indication of the person's Child Status.

That's to be expected -- ReunionTouch doesn't show different colors for different child statuses.
