Does Reunion support use of From and To dates?

OS 10.15.2 on a MacBook Pro using Reunion 12 and ReunionTouch 1.0.9 -
You can enter whatever you'd like into the Date field - e.g. you can enter "From 1990 to 1995". However, Reunion will ask for a Sort Date so that it knows where to sort the event when listed among other events.
