Setting up new list column with custom fact

I have created some custom facts at the Person level but it appears I can't add them to a list with the List column function! Any work around?

Once you add one of the new custom facts to a person it will appear as a column options in the list window.

Thanks - I had to delete custom then add again and then open list and it finally showed up in the list - a little tricky!
