Reunion 12 on MacBook Pro running Big Sur

I have Reunion 12 on my MacBook Pro (2014) can it be updated to 13? Can I export a gedcom from my Mac Studio Reunion 13 to my Reunion 12?

Reunion 13 should work on your 2014 MacBrook Pro Running Big Sur. I have no specific experience with MacBook Pros, but am running Reunion 13 on a 2012 iMac with High Sierra just fine.

What Blaise said PLUS..... Open the manual and take a look at the section titled "Sharing Family Files over the 'Cloud'"... You can set up and then synch the files ongoing. I suspect that you will need to upgrade to Reunion 13 on the laptop as I'm mostly sure that both files need to be on the same version of the app. Leister staff can confirm that. (P.S. This shouldn't involve $$ as you have 13 and the license allows you to have a copies on both your desktop and laptop.)

I think both Reunion 12 and 13 use the same GEDCOM Specifications version (5.5.1). So a GEDCOM file produced in one SHOULD work with the other, although, I don't have Reunion 12 anymore so I can't test that.

Leister would need to say if they made any changes to their implementation of the GEDCOM Specification from Reunion 12 to Reunion 13.

What you CAN'T do is share a Reunion 13 family file with Reunion 12. They, almost always, are not backward compatible. (Perhaps you knew this and that is why you were asking about sharing GEDCOM files?)
