Updated to version 13 and opened the 13 app and from there opened our old family file (version 12) and as promised it converted to version 13. But, our family file in 12 was 62.4 MB and version 13 file is 58.1 MB. Did we loose any data or does version 13 compact it better? Thanks for a great product.

The initial Reunion 13 family file might be smaller due to some cache files that are ignored during the upgrade, for example search results. On an as-needed basis, Reunion 13 will recreate any missing cache files and your family file size will increase.Gregg Witmer

Thanks for the responses which makes sense. Already used some of the new features of 13 and they worked. BTW, checked my Ver 12 and Ver 13 family file and the number of persons and media were the same. Thanks again.Comment
