Upgrading - finding the family file

I just purchased and downloaded Reunion 13 then double clicked on Reunion 13 .dmg then I dragged the Reunion 13 file into applications, next I filled in the form for licenses Number & my name.
It is here that I am lost, I opened my Reunion 13 file and only see Charts (my 2 family trees), Reports (my 2 family trees) and Sample Family 13.
I do not see Reunion 12
I see Reunion 13 & 12i in Applications. What do I do next? I am stuck, someone please assist.

The next step would be to use the "Select a family file..." window in Reunion 13 to select your version 12 family file, as noted in Step 4 on this web page...

If you know where your version 12 family file is located, you may use that "Select a family file..." window to navigate to it and select it. Then, click Open and Convert.

If you are not sure where your version 12 family file is located, click Cancel in Reunion 13's "Select a family file..." window and open Spotlight or a Finder window.

Then, search for files with this extension...
    .familyfile12

Once you find your version 12 family file, drag and drop it onto the Reunion 13 icon on your Dock or in your Applications folder.

Then, click Convert in the window that opens.

I hope you find this information helpful

Deb, what about Control-Clicking on the "x.familyfile12" file and selecting Reunion 13 with the "Open with..." option?

Yes. A family file can be converted in that way as well
